Caving

Rain and snowmelt try to find its way down the Kanin mountains. Dissolving limestone allows water to flow deep down. Over ages cracks, tunnels and chambers have been carved turning rock into ´Swiss Cheese´. Every year speleologists from all over the world visit Kanin to explore these caves. Entering crevasses starting at higher altitude descending hundreds of meters and climbing back out may last multiple days. Sometimes they even find a way through the mountain.  Opasen  can give you a taste of such experience.
